Video diary 1: Why I came to write my book on conscousness

Click here to go to my first ever video diary. (It seems to take forever to load it up here, and I can't be bothered to go through the process twice).

Some webpages I mention that you may be interested in consulting;

The Society for Psychical Research;

http://www.spr.ac.uk/

Aaaron Sloman's homepage -- AI and lots of interesting stuff.

Books;

Dennett, D. (1991) Consciousness explained. London.
Most cogitive scientists love this book. I'm less impressed than I used to be, although I do like the bits on pereceptual processing.

Penrose, R (1994) Shadows of the Mind. Oxford.
Consciousness as a non-computational phenomenon, perhpas linked to quantum gravity. See also Stuart Hameroff's webpage.
